Helping People Become

The Rock Church is blessed with many talented individuals with a burden for church ministry. Below, you will see the various ministries that The Rock Church has to offer to you and your family. Contact us to see how you can be a part of what is happening at The Rock Church.

The Sanctuary Choir of The Rock Church has one goal in mind–leading others into the awesome, overwhelming presence of God. We believe that if we can usher people into the presence of God, they will be able to find EVERYTHING they need!

The Sanctuary Choir is open to all dedicated members of The Rock Church, 15 years and older. Anyone desiring to be involved in playing or singing in any service must have an excellent standing membership in the choir. The choir meets every other Wednesday night at 7PM and every Sunday at 5PM for practice. The choir typically hosts three outreach concerts per year.

The Deaf Ministry of The Rock Church is under the direction of Rev. Curtis Noland. Rev. Noland, a deaf minister, is proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), and both teaches and preaches using ASL. Isaiah 29:18 says, “And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book…”

All regular Rock Church services have ASL interpreters available. Sunday Bible Study for the deaf is taught by Rev. Noland each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. In addition, the Deaf Ministry has special services, conferences, and other events specifically for the deaf.

This department provides an opportunity for the seniors of The Rock Church to interact socially. Activities include excursions, luncheons, BBQ’s, and parties.

The Young Adults of TRC (graduated from high school or are ages 18 to 25) come together each Friday night at 8:00 pm to form, what we call, The Ridge. Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV) states, “…narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life….” A ridge is a narrow path uniting mountain tops and dividing the valleys. That is what this group does best. Besides our ability and desire to connect with one another and celebrate each other’s mountain top highs or dividing another’s low valley, we connect with ministries world-wide to help them meet their needs in whatever way we can. It may be through a monthly commitment, sending a few young adults to work alongside the missionary, or raising funds at a fun event like our annual YA 5k run. This group is all about connecting with each other, our world, our individual dreams, and, most of all, our God. We look forward to seeing you on an upcoming YA RoadTrip or at The Ridge on a Friday night at 8:00 pm.
